This is my least favorite book in the series. The book doesn't seem to remember the first book at all and Rob's return doesnt line up with what we read in the first book.

In the first book Bree works out the loss of her husband and her grief over the accused affair by comparing his character to a Psalm Amu gives her to ponder- and comes to the xindlusion he was a man of God and wouldn't have cheated. But now we are made to believe that he not only embezzled thousands of dollars (that she never found about in a very small town? Yeah right). But we are also supposed to believe that there was someone else on the plane and he just walked away from his whole life because he thought his son passed. Please. The whole premise was just "off" and didn't fit.

Add into that her faith and praying before a rescue with Naomi, any mention of God seems to be an afterthought. Strange in a series that started off strong and then seems tired and unimaginative by book 4.

I love Collen Coble's books especially her mysteries. She is a great author and story teller. Its hard to put down the book once I start reading. This one is one of my favorites but all the Rock Harbor Series were great. Fans will love the search and rescue dog, Sam in all the series. He is a real hero. It is full of mystery, suspense and romance added along with it. I hope she writes more and continues the Rock Harbor series also.
Another great book in the Rock Harbor series! Don't miss it if you like mystery and romance! But hard to put down once you start reading.
As always, another great story by Ms. Coble. A continuation of the series and characters, it is exciting and holds the reader's attention. Loved it!
Dave and Victor see a windigo burying what looks like a baby but nobody believes Dave. Samson, Dave, and Bree fin a baby hidden in the forest. Babies are missing, people are dying, and someone from the dead reappears. Someone wants Dave, Bree and Victor dead and they'll take down anyone who stands in their way. Another Colleen Coble mystery concludes. Can't wait for the next one.
No doubt about it, this one will keep you turning the pages. Once again, Colleen Coble has written an excellent story of love and light. This novel is filled with intrigue, dark waves of fear, and the way to faith.
I love the mystery and suspence that Cobble puts in her books. I also like that she gives you a good Christian read. Not filled with foul language and trash. Keep up the good writing and I will keep buying and reading.
There are 5 books in this series. I read this one to find out the ending only to find out there was one more book (#5) with an referrals to it and an epilogue. I think author could have combined this book with #5 & finished the series better well-knitted together. I think she could have expressed character's personalities better, some got short-changed, others too much. Just my opinion, of course.
